We are a UNIT of architecture design creatives; a firm that offers a wide range of services, including architecture, planning, interior design, landscape, and urban design. Our team is committed to creating spaces that inspire and enrich the lives of our clients and the communities they inhabit. We think critically, study the brief & analyze the dynamics of the proposal with respect to the site and its context. We strive to simplify complex design processes by establishing flexible systems that cater to the specific needs of each project. Our compendium of projects is woven with variety and virtuosity.

Co-Founder
Unnikrishnan K K
Unnikrishnan K. K., Co-founder of Unit Design Studio, is "a man with a plan".
A seasoned architect with over a decade of experience across the full spectrum of architectural practice. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Manipal University and has been deeply involved in a wide range of projects, with a strong focus on healthcare planning. His professional journey includes leading roles in several prestigious international healthcare developments, where he brought together functional efficiency and human-centered design.
In 2025, he co-established Unit Design Studio, driven by a vision to create thoughtful, responsive, and context-driven architecture. Under his leadership, the studio has grown into a multidisciplinary practice known for its clarity of design and exemplary spatial planning. Unnikrishnan’s work is marked by a deep understanding of technical and programmatic requirements and a sensitive approach to planning.

Tushara Kalathil
Tushara K., Co-founder of Unit Design Studio, is "the creative spearhead" of the firm.
A young architect with intensive experience in hospitality and residential projects. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Mumbai. During her professional journey, she has worked on high-end weekend homes, offices, and restaurants.
In 2025, she co-established Unit Design Studio, driven by a vision to create explorative, responsive, and context-driven architecture. Guided by her vision, the studio has flourished into a multidisciplinary haven, acclaimed for crafting spatial synergies that are both unique and deeply rooted.
Tushara’s work is marked by a sensitive approach to design while being critical and detail-oriented. Her design process is research-driven and analytical. She has an enduring interest in creating spaces that improve well-being and quality of life.
